The Student Services Center welcomes each student as a unique individual gifted with special talents. At SJCA, our school counselors are committed to assisting with the academic, social, emotional and spiritual growth of every student.  They strive to meet students at their level and to challenge them to reach greater heights. These goals are achieved through various opportunities and specific grade levels, such as one-on-one meetings between counselor and student, classroom presentations to all students, group workshops, and parent information events. At SJCA, our school counselors are advocates for the students and their doors are always open.

College Rep Visits

This year, college rep visits will be returning to in-person events.  In-person learners must get a pass from Ms. Sallese in the Student Services Center prior to the visit. All students must contact Ms. Sallese directly and she will let your teacher know you are attending the visit.  Ms. Sallese can be reached at (262) 654-8651 ext. 139 or [email protected]. For questions, please contact the school counselors at [email protected].

ACT Preparation

The ACT is a standardized test for high school achievement and college admissions in the United States produced by ACT, Inc.  At SJCA, our students consistently score above the local, state, and national averages. SJCA students may take the ACT at any location. The ACT is administered throughout the year.  To register, or for more information, click here to access the ACT website. The ACT Registration Code for SJCA is 501-007.

Naviance

Naviance is one of the most powerful resources for the entire college search process and it is available to all of our Upper Campus families through SJCA.  Naviance is a comprehensive college and career readiness tool that assists with academic planning, college preparation and career exploration.  The SJCA counseling staff highly recommends that all families set up a Naviance account and become familiar with this important tool, as it has features applicable to all Upper Campus students, from interest surveys for middle schoolers to ACT tips for juniors and seniors.   If you need help logging into Naviance, please contact the Student Services Center.  Click here to access Naviance.
