Scholarships to SJCA
Scholarships are specific to current SJCA students or those enrolling for the 2022-2023 school year. Scholarship applications will open in January 2022. For questions please contact the Admissions Department at [email protected].
High School Scholarships
The purpose of the Thomas Madrigrano Scholarship is to award a student who has demonstrated academic and/or church and/or community leadership skills. The scholarship will be awarded each fall term and applied to the tuition of that student.

The Bristol Oaks Golf Club and Banquet Hall Scholarship was established to recognize a student with strong academics and a commitment to community service. The Scholarship will award one $1,000 Scholarship for the 2022-2023 school year to be applied toward the winner’s tuition.

The For Pete’s Sake/Peter Francois Scholarship is a $2,000 renewable scholarship awarded to students who are entering the 9th grade at SJCA. The student will be from a Catholic parish that has demonstrated a commitment to his/her school, church and/or community.

Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish, in an effort to further catholic education and with the belief that there is great value to it, awards two non-renewing $500 tuition scholarships annually to rising 9th grade students from our parish and who are registered to attend an Archdiocesan Catholic high school.

Dr. Bryon Kozak’s interest and commitment to education sparked the idea for this essay contest as a way to encourage literacy among area youth. He appreciates a love of reading, writing and critical thinking. He is very proud to be a part of the SJCA family. Scholarship money will be applied to the winner’s tuition. This scholarship is for 8th grade graduating students who will be registered to attend SJCA for their freshman year. The Kozak Orthodontics Scholarship will award up to two (2) $500 scholarships.

The Marilyn Pignotti Scholarship is to be awarded to a student who has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills in academics, church and/or community. This scholarship is for 8th grade graduating students who will be registered to attend SJCA for their freshman year. The Pignotti Scholarship will award up to two (2) $500 scholarships. The money will be applied towards the winner’s tuition at St. Joseph Catholic Academy.

The JC Scholarship is a $2,500.00 renewable scholarship awarded to a student who is entering 9th or 10th grade at SJCA. The student will have demonstrated a commitment to their school, church and/or community. The scholarship is renewable for one year.

The Michael J. Naidicz Foundation, Ltd, was created to support continued Catholic education at St. Joseph Catholic Academy and to provide scholarships to worthy students. Each year the foundation will award one to three scholarships to incoming 9th grade students. The scholarship(s) awarded by the Foundation is for one year, renewable for three additional years while the recipient attends the high school program at St. Joseph Catholic Academy.

Eighth grade girls entering a Catholic high school in the fall of 2022 are invited to apply for the John and Kathleen Schneider Family Foundation $1,000 scholarship. The award is given at our annual MACCW convention.

St. Mary Parish will be offering two scholarships in 2022 to support worthy students’ Catholic education at St. Joseph Catholic Academy High School. The Parish will award one $500.00 scholarship to each of the selected incoming 9th grade student. This is a one-time payment made directly to the school for tuition on behalf of the student.

Theresa Crewe was a long time supporter of St. Joseph High School. Her six children and many extended family members attended SJHS and her husband, the late Dr. David O. Crewe served on the SJHS Board of Directors. Theresa was proud of her hometown community of Kenosha and was passionate about serving our community. Theresa, affectionately called Tree by family and friends, and was also known for her faith and unwavering kindness. We are honored to grant this scholarship in her honor.

The SJCA Lancer Scholars Program is for students that can demonstrate a high potential to make an impact at SJCA as thoughtful scholars, committed leaders and dedicated stewards, and must also exemplify the Eight Lancer Values which are Commitment, Humility, Generosity, Acceptance, Respect, Accountability, Integrity and Spirituality.

The Frank Fani Diversity Scholarship is a $1,500.00 scholarship awarded to one student who is entering the 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade at SJCA who comes from an underrepresented ethnic group.

The Frank Matrise, Jr. Memorial Scholarship was created to honor St. Joseph Alumni, Parent and Coach Frank A. Matrise, Jr. ‘s years of dedication and support of SJCA. This scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded annually to one male and one female who are returning to St. Joseph Catholic Academy for their sophomore, junior or senior year.

The Ellen Rose Santarelli Memorial Scholarship was created to honor Ellen’s years of dedication as a teacher and coach at St. Joseph High School. This scholarship of $2,400 will be awarded annually to a deserving female student who is returning to St. Joseph Catholic Academy for her junior year. The money will be applied towards the winner’s high school tuition at St. Joseph Catholic Academy.

In support of Catholic education, the Jerome J. Brault and Mary L. Brault Memorial Endowed Scholarship of $2,000 will be awarded annually to two deserving students enrolled at St. Joseph Catholic Academy entering their junior or senior year. The Robert and Anne Roders Memorial Scholarship recognizes a current SJCA high school student who has displayed outstanding talent in band, orchestra or musicianship and/or science. This scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded annually to a deserving student who is returning to St. Joseph Catholic Academy for his/her senior year. The money will be applied directly toward the recipient’s SJCA high school tuition.

The St Joseph Alumni Association Scholarships are given to students in grades 9-12 who will be or are attending SJCA. The Alumni Association will fund two $1000 scholarships. One of the scholarships will be awarded to a relative of a St. Joseph Alumnus. The money will be applied to the student’s tuition at SJCA

Students entering 9-12th grades during the 2022-2023 school year, and who are enthusiastic about the performing arts (acting, band, music, etc.), are invited to audition for a FOPA scholarship. Two $1,000.00 performing arts scholarships will be awarded.

The Jane Rafferty Thiele Scholarship is given to students in grades 9-12 who will be or are attending SJCA. The scholarship will award two $4000 scholarships per year. The money will be applied to the student’s tuition at SJCA.

Elementary, Middle and High School Scholarships

The Jacoby Rutkowski Memorial Scholarship is endowed annually by his family to provide financial aid to K-8th Grade SJCA students. The family of Jacoby (Jake) Richard Rutkowski recognizes the value of a Catholic education and wishes to extend a minimum of one annual scholarship for deserving students to attend St. Joseph Catholic Academy.

- Amount: One $500 scholarship for SJCA Lower Campus Elementary Students entering grades K-5 and one $500 scholarship for students in grades 6-8.
