Teacher: Elementary School

The Elementary School Teacher is responsible for the instruction, supervision, and management of elementary school students.  The Teacher should possess excellent communication skills, exhibit empathy and support for the academic and emotional needs of his or students, and foster positive interactions with students and fellow employees.  He or she must also fulfill other responsibilities in accordance with SJCA’s mission statement.  Click here for the job description and application materials.

Teacher: Elementary Phys. Ed.

The elementary school Physical Education Teacher is responsible for the instruction, supervision, and management of 3K through 5th grade students. The goal is to develop motor skills, physical development, proper exercise, and eating habits among all students. The teacher must knowledgeable about healthy life practices and use everyday relevant situations to teach these practices, must be creative and resourceful in using school space and limited resources to provide physical activities, and be flexible and engaging as an instructor for students from multiple grade levels.
