St. Joseph Catholic Academy Guidance

The Guidance and Counseling Center welcomes each student as a unique individual gifted with special talents. At SJCA, our counselors are committed to assisting with the academic, social, emotional and spiritual growth of every student.  They strive to meet students at their level and to challenge them to reach greater heights. These goals are achieved through various opportunities and specific grade levels, such as one-on-one meetings between counselor and student, classroom presentations to all students, group workshops, and parent information events. At SJCA, our counselors are advocates for the students and their doors are always open.

Naviance is one of the most powerful resources for the entire college search process and it is available to all of our Upper Campus families through SJCA.  Naviance is a comprehensive college and career readiness tool that assists with academic planning, college preparation and career exploration.  The SJCA counseling staff highly recommends that all families set up a Naviance account and become familiar with this important tool, as it has features applicable to all Upper Campus students, from interest surveys for middle schoolers to ACT tips for juniors and seniors.   If you need help logging into Naviance, please contact the Guidance and Counseling Center.  Click here to access Naviance.
