Athletic Director

The Athletic Director is responsible for the coordination and management of SJCA’s elementary through high school athletic programs.  The Director should demonstrate integrity and accountability for his or her actions; commit to SJCA’s Catholic values and the role athletics can play in fulfilling those values; possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and express an enthusiasm in working with SJCA’s student athletes, families, staff, and supporters.  He or she must also fulfill other responsibilities in accordance with SJCA’s mission statement. Prek-5th Grade Physical Education Teacher

The PreK-5 Physical Education Teacher is responsible for the instruction, supervision, and management of PreK through 5th grade students. The goal is to develop motor skills, physical development, proper exercise, and eating habits among all students. The teacher must knowledgeable about healthy life practices and use everyday relevant situations to teach these practices, must be creative and resourceful in using school space and limited resources to provide physical activities, and be flexible and engaging as an instructor for students from multiple grade levels. Prek-5th Grade Music Teacher

The Music Teacher is responsible for the instruction, supervision, and management of PreK-5th grade students.  The Teacher should possess excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to academic excellence, provide academic support for the individual needs of his or her students, and foster positive interactions with students and fellow employees.  Click here to learn more.

Middle and High School Music Teacher

The music teacher will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of general music, band, and choral instruction and develop and implement effective classroom curricula, complementing SJCA’s sequential and standardized curricular goals and working closely with other department faculty.
