St. Joseph Catholic Academy is committed to supporting the whole student. Our school Counseling Center and Learning Resource Specialist offers a range of services to help students develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed in school and beyond. From support with social emotional needs to college preparations, our experienced professionals are here to help. We are proud to provide a caring and supportive environment for our students to grow and thrive.

Counseling Center

Upper Campus

At St. Joseph Catholic Academy, our middle and high school guidance counselor is committed to helping you succeed. We provide a variety of services including assistance with class schedules, college applications, scholarships, financial aid, and college visits. Our aim is to ensure that each student is fully prepared for their educational and career pursuits after high school.

Lower Campus

At St. Joseph Catholic Academy, we understand that a child's emotional well-being is just as important as their academic success. Our experienced elementary school guidance counselor is here to provide social emotional support to students, teachers, and families. We work in partnership with parents and teachers to help students develop positive relationships, build resilience, and develop coping skills to navigate the challenges of school and life.

Learning Resource Specialist

At SJCA, the Learning Resource Specialist:

​

• Advocates for students;

• Helps with homework;

• Reads tests;

• Writes Accommodation Plans;

• Regularly checks grades;

• Teaches reading/writing strategies and STEM;

• Is available before and after school;

• Coordinates with KUSD for IEP’s.

High School Transcript Request

Current High School Students that are applying for college are able to request copies of their transcripts, free of charge.

Please submit one request per college.

College Acceptance Letters, Scholarships and Merit Awards

Current 12th grade students should complete this form to be submitted to the Counseling Dept.
