Safe Environment
St. Joseph Catholic Academy in partnership with the Archdiocese of Milwaukee is committed to creating a safe environment for all of our children. Every teacher, staff member and volunteer is required to complete a Safe Environment Education Session, pass a criminal background check and sign a Code of Ethical Standards. SJCA offers a number sessions for those who are interested in volunteering at our school. Check out the list below for all our upcoming sessions.
If you are a volunteer that has ever lived out of state, background checks are taking significantly longer to process. At this time, the waiting period may be 3-4 weeks or longer at times depending on the county. Please plan accordingly to be sure that there is enough time to process the background check before the event that you plan to participate in takes place.

All classes are in-person and held at the SJCA Upper Campus Auditorium. Register online at CMG Connect and complete the initial safe environment training along with the background check. These classes are for 18 years old and up; no children allowed due to the sensitive nature of the subjects being discussed.
